The Lazarus Group is a North-Korean backed hacker group that has been responsible for a significant number of the largest exploits in the cryptocurrency space. The Lazarus Group started gaining mainstream attention through attacks such as the 2014 Sony Pictures hack and 2017 WannaCry ransomware attack.
