Monthly Threat Actor Group Intelligence Report, April 2025
This is a summary of the activities of hacking groups (Threat Actor Groups) analyzed based on data and information collected by the NSHC Threat Research Lab from March 21, 2025, to April 20, 2025.
In April, activities of a total of 77 hacking groups were identified, with the largest portion being unidentified groups at 61%, followed by the activities of SectorJ and SectorA groups.
The hacking activities of hacking groups discovered this April primarily targeted officials or systems in government agencies and the manufacturing sector, with the most attacks being carried out. Regionally, it has been confirmed that hacking activities were most prevalent in countries located in North America and Europe.
In April 2025, numerous APT and cybercrime organizations were actively operating, with the threat activities of the SectorA and SectorJ groups being particularly notable. Overall, more than 10 major organizational groups targeted various industries such …
