OFAC designated ten individuals and the First Financial and Technical Development Center for supporting North Korean government-run IT worker schemes targeting US businesses. The designated network includes Russia-based DPRK workers and facilitators who allegedly converted or transferred millions of dollars in cryptocurrency, while six workers linked to FFTDC generated more than USD 750,000 since 2025. OFAC listed eight distinct cryptocurrency addresses across three individuals and said the schemes fund North Korea's weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missile programs.
