DeTankWar, also called DeFiTankWar, DeTankZone, or TankWarsZone, is a malicious tank game developed and distributed by Moonstone Sleet. The actor approached targets through email or messaging while posing as game developers, fake companies, or legitimate blockchain businesses seeking investment or development assistance. Public websites and social-media personas made the game appear credible. Running the game infected victim devices, making it a trojanized application and delivery vehicle within a North Korean social-engineering campaign observed from February 2024.
