Operation FakeNews was an ESRC-named spear-phishing campaign that impersonated South Korea’s Ministry of Unification. The activity used malicious HTML attachments, Google Drive-hosted encrypted shellcode, PowerShell-based in-memory loading, and pCloud for victim-data transmission.
