MurAll is a blockchain art ecosystem whose bridge to Polygon was compromised, disrupting the supply of its PAINT token and causing losses to community members and the project team. The bridge failure also altered voting power, so the project said a normal governance proposal could not fairly authorize reimbursement. MurAll announced that Ethereum-side supply held by its decentralized autonomous organization would be used to reimburse affected holders and the team, with DAO funds replacing PAINT lost through the bridging vulnerability.
