ObjCShellz is a simple macOS backdoor written in Objective-C that provides a remote shell and permits arbitrary command execution. Attackers reportedly deploy it as a second-stage payload after a system has already been compromised. Jamf Threat Labs identified the malware in November 2023, linked it to the RustBucket campaign, and described it as functional despite its limited design. The activity is associated with BlueNoroff, while a broader North Korean threat assessment assigns the malware to Slow Pisces.
