VestCert is Yettiesoft non-ActiveX web security software used for certificate-based login on South Korean services. Lazarus exploited a zero-day remote-code-execution weakness through watering-hole sites, causing vulnerable Windows systems to launch PowerShell and download and execute additional malware.
